Tom Kuntz is the Editor of RealClearInvestigations. Before joining RealClear in 2016, he was a New York Times journalist for 28 years. He was a foreign editor during the collapse of communism and the first gulf war. At the Sunday Week in Review, his Word for Word columns of verbatim excerpts led to two books, “The Titanic Disaster Hearings” (Pocket Books, 1998) and “The Sinatra Files” (Three River Press, 2000). After 9/11, he produced Times television documentaries for Discovery about rebuilding ground zero. He also served as pop music editor, ideas blogger and special sections editor, among other roles at the Times. He has edited numerous Pulitzer Prize-winners over the course of his career.
